Now that I've gotten your attention, I have a few questions. We have a group of 8 adults traveling together celebrating: 10th anniversary, 15th anniversary, 14th anniversary,6th anniversary, 2 masters degrees, and a 40th birthday. WHEW! My friend whose husband is turning 40 would like to take table decorations to surprise her DH. Can we take them to guest services that day and have them delivered to our table, or can I sneak in the dining room a few minutes early for her and decorate the table myself? Also, if we take deflated balloons, do they have helium tanks onboard to inflate them?
She would love an over the hill cake for her DH...I've seen them do wedding cakes, but does anybody know if they do other special order cakes? We got the generic cake last time (and it was good!) but would love something a bit more specific. Dont' think we could get one onboard with all of our stuff without him knowing about it, and it would probably spoil b4 we gave it to him. Looking for ideas here. Any help out there?
Also on a sidenote...if you get the classic wine package, I know you can't choose from the deluxe, but if you get the deluxe, and there's a wine you want from the classic, can you do that?

We have had various anniversaries/birthdays on board, and have had some beautiful cakes/decorations. Speak to your Head Server/Server and ask in advance if you can have special cakes done (not usual small ones). Also: at the cake decorating display - the chef decorated a really beautiful cake for our 29th anniversary - and presented it to us afterwards.

Our daughter (CM) also had a special Photograph/stationery box delivered to our cabin - which was lovely.It now holds all our photos from the cruise, and also all the leaflets/navigators etc.

Not sure about helium balloons, but I suspect if you ask - you will be succesful! Never had Disney let us down yet! Maybe Palo do something special? Worth asking.

I know that they backe actual wedding cakes on the ship because I saw one being made while I was on the galley tour. I am sure they can make whatever kind of cake you want for $

krhardy, I don't know if it would be special enough, but if you go to the cake decorating section of a party supply store or a craft store they have lots of great cake toppers, candles and decorations that can be placed on a regular cake. Maybe you could get these things to guest services to be placed on their standard cake.

We went and Saw our Head Server and He took Care of A Couple of surprises for other people at our Table......
