Anybody know anything about Cuckoo clocks?

We have a cuckoo clock we got in Germany in EPCOT 6 years ago. It works - sort of. It rings the hour at 20 after and indicates the half hour at 10 of. Any one have suggestions?

The hands are out of sync with the internal clock mechanism. When it rings, remove the hands and replace them in the correct position (on the 6 or 12 for the minute hand).

I actually take the hands off? Not just reset it?

My mom has one too from Epcot/Germany and she has the same problem. She stopped by the store on our last trip and they showed her how to fix it. Sorry I didn't pay attention, but you can pop in there on your next trip and they will show you.

Just resetting (turning) the hands may move the internal works and negate your effort. If the hands pull off, do that, then press them back on in the correct position. That method does not disturb the internal timing of the hands vs. chime.
