Just got back last thursday. We were told not to lock our bags for the return flight. There were signs saying this on the checkin desk also. We left all bags unlocked. One had been examined, a leaflet was inside and it had been sealed with a plastic tag. ( One wonders why they do that when everything is unsecure due to being unlocked!) There was a huge que to get through security at the airport so we missed spending our last dollars in the shops. I was pulled over at the archway, due to a metal lipstick in my pocket. They really went over me with that wand, DH had to deal with 2 kids, pushchair, about six bags, cuddly toys etc. coming out of the Xray machine on his own while I was in that little glass room. On the way in it was him who got pulled in and I had to cope with it all as well as 4 pairs of shoes and all of us being tired! There were loads of bags with tape crosses on them at the carousel but I don't know if that was anything official or just a big group marking their bags.
