Anybody going to FW Columbus Day wknd?

Hi there, anyone going to FW between Oct. 7-11, Columbus Day weekend? We'll be at a FW cabin those four nights and going to mnsshp Friday Oct. 8. Can't wait to cruise over to MK on the ferry!

Yeah, the party is great fun! We did it last year and enjoyed it so much that we are going twice this year!!

Have you been to FW, parks etc over Columbus Day weekend? The "crowd indicators" seldom seem to mention this holiday weekend, although from what I have gleaned it seems a moderate attendance time -- not low but not high like holidays such as President's Day etc.

Yes, we were there last year over the holiday weekend. We usually go in early June and I really didn't notice that the crowds were any worse than that.

However, we are NOT park commandos and will often do 3 or 4 hours at a park and then enjoy life at the fort. So I'm not really sure you can judge by anything I say. I didn't even find going during Easter to be too dreadfully crowded and I've read that some people thought it was. We were at Epcot on Easter Sunday and it felt practically empty at times!
