We are! Dec 3 - Dec 7. It's going to be a short/cheap trip. NO KIDS! OMG! It will be the "40 AND FABULOUS TOUR!"

Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary - Character Dining
Cinderella's Royal Table (If you can get in) in Magic Kingdom - Character Dining
Princess Storybook (If you can't) in Norway/Epcot - Character Dining
Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge - Fun for kids
Le Cellier in Canada/Epcot

Have a great time!

Dec 2-9 for us! Its our second trip, and I am very excited about having a couple of extra days, coupled with no-one else's schedule to deal with.:rolleyes1

If you don't have a Disney Visa, its worth getting one for the character greeting at Epcot.

We loved the Coral Reef for lunch (but I know some people have had issues)
We also liked the Liberty Tree Tavern (hey, I just realized that I am posting suggestions for people who will be my competition for ADRs! :lmao:

Last trip we made our ADRs way late and had to skip a couple of places, but this time I will likely want the Crystal Palace and may be a CRT [undecided, not sure how much my DS will dig it]

I'm thinking about a charter to watch the fireworks from the lagoon...still thinking about that, too.

I'm sure we'll all chat as we count down and am excited to see what good ideas others have.

:confused3 i just got a disney visa card!!! whats this about character greeting in epcot??? where are you staying? im praying that i will get a 40% off code to upgrade to a deluxe resort. the kids wanted to stay at pop. they saw the outside and were hooked!! also is the mvmcp a must see w/ kids??

We are at the Poly again.

The Visa character greeting is at Epcot (can't recall which pavilion, but we will both need to check the time and place when we get closer). When we went last time, Mickey, Minnie and Goofy were together in the special room and our family had about 15 minutes with the kids and the characters. The joy of my DS getting to play peek-a-boo with Mickey was unreal!

I'm hoping the MVMC will be held while we are there...great parade w/snow!

I went closer to Christmas last time, so I've not personally seen the crowd the 1st week. I do know that the park was pretty easily managed at the beginning of the week, but by the 23d it was insane! :scared1:

We really enjoyed Minnies house, but frankly didn't get to do Mickey's because of the line. I think this time we will make a bee-line upon the park opening. I think you'll find the extra magic hour nice. We were able to do most of Fantasyland before the crush hit.

Our son was just 1 (celebrated his b-day on our first day, at the Animal Kingdom), and we had our grandkids, age 21/2 and 18 months with us. It was funny the things they were excited about. Believe it or not, the ducks in the lake at MGM studio was a huge hit! 30 minutes of oooh and ahhh. The lesson I took from that was not to rush, and let them just take it all in.:goodvibes Makes for happier kids and happier mommies.

Fast pass is a great thing. The other thing to consider is really evaluating the line v. true desire to see that attraction. We routinely found things that made us tickled that had no or minimal lines, and avoided the long stands. The one exception was an "adult" ride, Expedition Everest (which I must say was an amazing roller coaster and should not be missed if you do coasters). In those rare instances, we would accept the baby-swap ticket and then the adult mit kinder would actually walk to something kid oriented. You don't need to pace at the exit. The single rider line is another good way to blast through the crowd, get your ride fix and be back to kid-time in no time.

I'm sure I'll think of more as we go.

ME TOO, ME TOO!!!

We are going Nov 28 - Dec 7, it will be my DS5's first time and we will be celebrating his 6th Bday on Nov. 30.

I haven't booked yet though :scared1:
Originally we were going to do POFQ but I have convinced DH that we NEED to get an Annual Pass. He agreed to it as long as we stay at a value resort.
Lemme see.... one trip to a moderate resort or two trips to a value????? Hmmmm. This time Quantity wins over Quality
So POP Century it is!!!
We will be there at the same time.

Staying at DVC Boardwalk Nov 30-Dec 5. First trip with our new dvc purchase.

:thumbsup2 Congrats!! That first trip "home" is awesome!

We'll be there Nov. 30 - Dec. 6. Currently we are booked at our home of SSR but are secretly hoping to be able to get VWL. :)

We are - off property for 12/4 and then checking into CR 12/5 to 12/15.

Us too. Nov. 29th-Dec 6th at Pop Century. DH, DS10, DD7, myself, DGM, DMIL, DFIL, DSIL. Grand Gathering.

Can't wait...

We are going 11/28 - 12/06 and staying at the ASMu. This is our second time going this week. We went two years ago during the exact same week (week after Thanksgiving). It was awesome. The weather was cooler and rainy but enjoyable. As for crowds they were minimal. We walked on to most rides with a few exceptions. I think our longest waits were 15-20 mins for Soarin and BTR.

You will have a great time!:cheer2:

We will be there. I feel like everyone will be there this year from reading these boards.
We are staying at the POP 12/5-12/11, and then we are heading over to Universal (our 1st time).

Please someone tell me about the Disney Visa Character meet at EPCOT?
Thanks

We will still be there but we changed to a split stay - 5 nights AKL & 6 nights CR. DH is thinking we should try to get more nights at AKL and less at CR. The last time I stayed at CR was back in the 70's as a young adult. I am really looking forward to watching Wishes from my balcony. See you at the AKL crazypants.
