Anybody going in September?

This year it looks like September is going to work out better for us to close shop and go on vacation. Tentaively planning on around 16-25 September. Anybody going to be there to kick back and tip a cold Kungaloosh with FWGuy?

Our schedule is making it so we are going 2nd week of October. See if you can push yours back Jim...I would like to enjoy that kungaloosh with you. We could toast Collins, North Collins, Collins Center, Tom Collins....whatever. After a couple drinks it won't really matter.

Hmm, Tom Collins. That sounds good. Anybody remember what goes in one of those??

September/October used to be one of our preferred times to go, but with the wife's new job in the school system, it's just not in the cards anymore. Great job, but means we take vacations when everyone else does if it's more than a long weekend.

I think this is doable. The F&W festival is Oct 1 thru Nov 14 2010. So we may be able to overlap some of our days with your days. Now to keep our fingers crossed.

Yeah, that is the day we are planning on leaving right now. I feel bad about missing F&W but October is a busier time at my office than September, so we had to make a decision based on business trends and requirements.

Yeah, I had to grow up after I left the VA and took the cut in pay. Now I have to focus in on the business or my wife will go hungry, and she gets mean when she gets hungry.

I mean soooo she doesn't eat for a while before she goes..but then you can fatten her up when you get there!

Our visit to the Fort was during the last week of Sept. into the first week of October '08, and the weather was very pleasant. Warm..but not too humid. Maybe this was unusual for that time of year, but it was pretty comfortable.
