Anybody get admission with a CM?

We are lucky enough have a friend who works at one of the parks who can get us in for free. However, going over our itinerary she is pretty sure she can NOT get us in for free in time for a morning EMH. Does anyone have experience with this? PM me or post it here. Thanks!!

Well, a while back we were able to get day passes from A friend who worked at WDW. It was a plain plastic pass that said "Not for Sale". EMH is for resort guest and they do check your room card (which has your days of stay on it) before letting you in / handing you a wrist band. So you most likely wont be able to do EMH.

I assume your friend is going to use her main gate to get you into the parks? (as opposed to giving you the comp. tickets -white plastic cards that cgcruz described). If that's the case the CM will have to be with you at the gates of the park (she can be on the other side of the turnstiles - in the park if she's working, she just has to be there to hand her maingate card to the cast member working the turnstile)...So...chances are if she can't be there in time to let you in for EMH, there's really not much you can do about that, short of buying a one day ticket. Sorry
Wish I could be more helpful...maybe somebody else knows of a way around this?

if you are staying at a resort during the trip, you can go to emh. my father and sister stayed at saratoga in july and used my maingate pass (the blue pass) and as long as we had the room key to prove that we were staying there, you can go to emh- just like when those people who buy their park tics somewhere else, but are staying at a disney resort are still allowed to go to emh

also, i had to be there with them when they used the pass, but because i also had a room key (cause i was staying with them) it was no problem cause emh is for anyone staying at a disney resort, and i was a guest for the day.

Last year I could do EMH without a problem, but I did stay at a Disney Resort.

My cousin & his DW work for Disney and what we have done is meet at the gate, where he gets us in, then we get the PH for the rest of the day and usually he goes to work or his family will join us. He accomodates us for our entire stay.

We have done this at times for a few yrs. now...but I reciprocate by taking his family to a few nice dinners, Ca. Grill, Citrocose, Illuminations Cruise, Fishing Excursion..etc.

There have been many times when I don't tell him Im going.....just because I feel like I'm "sponging" on him and also because I feel obligated when they choose to visit the park with me Im "stuck" with them...and there are times when I'd rather they didn't.

Don't get me wrong...I totally appreciate it.

So... I think in the future... its worth admission prices to "Do Disney My Way" and not tell them Im coming...and in the long run...probably cheaper for me too!!
