Anybody ever try the burger at Liberty Tree Tavern?

Everyone can order and eat as they like, that's what makes dining out so great. I Still don't understand Why anyone would make reservations, sometimes hard to get reservations, than order a Hamburger, and pay extra, when you can get one most any CS places, and there all the same, Disney buys their burgers by volume and its the same ground meat, hopefully beef, all over the property, no matter where you get it. Maybe they get cooked a little differant, and add more this and that, but it's the same meat.

:yay:

The LTT burger is listed on the menu as an Angus burger, so actually, I'm pretty sure it's not the same as every other burger in the CS restaurants. It's much thicker than the CS burgers, and it's grilled instead of mass-cooked on the griddle like the CS burgers.

When I pay "extra" for a burger at LTT, I'm also getting quite tasty steak fries (better than the CS fries). And I have the opportunity to sit in a relaxing atmosphere and be served instead of waiting in line for my tray and wandering around until I find a table.

So even though it's "just a burger" it's not only better food, it's a much nicer atmosphere. :thumbsup2

Angus people have done a fantasic job promoting the angus meat, making people think they are getting something special, either from Angus or or some other breed of cow, ground meat is usually ground chuck, sometimes sirlon, still just ground meat, just like any other CS place, they may make the patties a little bigger and put them on a fancy bun, It still Just a burger, in a expensive setting.
Why pay the extra is my question, I can get one of them at the food court without Reservations. :rolleyes1

If you can't tell the difference in the burgers then there probably isn't any reason for you to pay extra.

My husband enjoys the burgers at LTT and Lecelliers. Why would we pay "extra" for a burger at a sit-down restaurant? First, the burgers aren't necessarily the "same" as CS burgers. I've had burgers at GFC and the Plaza, which were both excellent and nothing like the burger I had at BLE. Second, we have TIW, which gives us a 20% discount off most TS locations, so the price is comparable to CS fare. Third, we enjoy being waited on rather than standing in line and searching for a table. It's all a matter of personal taste and preference.

Honestly one major difference is the Table Service Restaurants still use White Buns and the Quick Service Locations now use Whole Wheat Buns which taste horrible and always fall apart. It's been a while since I had the Burger at Liberty Tree Tavern, however I have had Angus Chuck Burger at the ESPN Club a few times and in my opinion it's a lot better then any Quick Service Burger.
