We're having dinner at the B-line Diner, meeting some friends who are staying there from California. Nice place?

We were here this past June 13th-19th.

The B-Line diner is a pretty standard diner with pretty good food. The diner itself wouldn't impress me.. but I thought the food there was good, though a bit pricey for a diner. They give generous portions though.

The hotel is gorgeous! We were on the 26th floor and had an awesome view of pool (straight down), to the slight left - the fireworks at Sea World, and to the slight right in the distance - the fireworks at WDW.
The pool was very clean, nicely warm. They have big, fluffy, HEATED towels at the pool. The hot tub was a nice temperature too.
The rooms are nice size, not huge, and very clean. Housekeeping was wonderful! They have a cute little duck-shaped soap (ducks are their mascot) which my daughter loved, and housekeeping left her LOADS of them over the 7 days we were there.

From the bellmen, to the desk clerks, the staff was wonderful! We booked through Hotwire and paid only $82 a night for our room, they knew it and yet we were treated the same as any other guest.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone! I'll be trying to spend a portion of our vacation here next year again. We love Sea World, and it's very close to it.

Try to get there before 5:00pm so you can see the ducks march back into the elevator (from the lobby fountain), and up to their special duck suite. You can see them in their suite too since it's enclosed by glass.

I think your friends will not be disapointed in the Peabody. It's big, clean, updated.. just beautiful!

The only cons: valet parking is $17 a night. But, self parking is free and very close. And, to watch the minibar bill. I got charged twice for things I didn't use (I didn't use the minibar at all). I had no problem when I called down to get them taken off my bill though.

Most comfortable hotel bed I've ever had. Stayed there 5 days last spring. Loved the bed, loved the pool.

Con: the shuttle service to/from disney is horrible.
