Anybody ever rent a van for 8?

After reading posts of people with kids,it sounds like using the Disney transportation might be a pain in the ear. I'm thinking it might be worth spending the money for a van rental( for
4 adults,4 kids). Has anyone ever rented a van of that size? How much should I expect to pay for 10 days?

Sounds like you would need a full size van and not a minivan if you have any luggage. The prices are usually outrageous. Weekly rentals over $400 are not that unusual. Minivans are not cheap either. I had a daily rental of $43 in south Florida earlier this month and was happy.
