Anybody ever buy air line tickets off e-bay????

What are some of the things I should know or ask the seller about??????

You actually can't purchase a USUABLE airline ticket from EBAY, since all airline tickets are sold as non-transferable. Which means you can't use it, since it won't be in your name and the person who is selling it can't change the ticket to your name. Stay with the internet agencies that sell tickets legitimately, like expedia, orbitz or travelocity. You can also buy tickets directly from any airline's website.

I love ebay but I dont think I would ever buy airline tickets off there. Because a) arnt they basically non-exhanagable? with a huge penalty to change any of the info on them. b) how do you know they are 100% legit. Personally I wouldnt trust them, IMO its like buying leftover days for DL/WDW on ebay- How do you really know there are said days left and valid until you go and use them- That would be a horriable time to get there and then have to shell out a few grand due to a fake...
