Anybody ever ate at the chef's table at V & A's?

Hi,

We will be visting wdw in Nov and DH and I are leaving our kids with the grandparents and going on a date!!!1 (wooo hooo!!! )
My question is, has anyone ever eaten at the chef's table at Victoria and Albert's? If so what is the difference from the regular tables?
Is it worth the extra $$$?

The Chef's Table is a private table in the kitchen and the chef will come speak with you and find your likes and dislikes. You will get more tastings than in the main dining room. It usually books exactly at 180 days out, so it is unlikely that it will be available for your November trip. Can't hurt to try for a cancellation though.

The Chef's table is fantastic - But WDW_Dine is right ; it's the hardest ressie to get - usually it books at 7:00am exactly 180 days out. You can always call for a cancellation - one year, I got a ressie for the CHef's table at about 60 days out ---just got lucky! The atmosphere in the main dining room is probably more romantic ( dimmer lighting, harpist) than the Chef's table - and the food is just as good (there is just a little less of it)...Jill

We did this for our 15th anniversary. We thought it was worth the extra money. It is A LOT more food. We had caviar which usually costs quite a bit extra, our entrees had 2-3 different choices on the plate and they brought 3 desserts, plus the pressed pot of coffee. Whatever you do, don't eat too many of the wonderful rolls or you won't make it to dessert.
