In order to match up my loss with my eating pattern my Dr has given me food logs.

Now it only works if you are honest.

You not only write what you eat but when, where and how long it took to eat. He also asks your frame of mind when you are eating.

There is also a space for activity. How much, what kind, and when.

Since I have been doing this - honestly - it is amazing to see my patterns.

I can now tell how well I am doing just by being honest and recording everything and not bypassing the spoon full of sauce while cooking etc..

How many of us do this?

And if you would like a copy I would be happy to send a copy to anyone.

Id be intersted in a copy.........
I have journaled my food on WISH journals but, never thought the jot down those other things..........
I mean I usually include what I did that day such as reasons why I missed a meal and why i cheated ............kinda like a rationalize these things LOL.......
but what you said is interesting.............
Id like to try.
thanks

I'd be interested too.

I journal food and activity on fitday.com(its free) and would like to have a paper log to fill in so I don't forget before I get online to add it in.

I too use fitday

I also write down what Ive eaten throughout the day so when I have time to get on the computer I have it all there on paper

I also use my pedometer to track distance/steps
