I do. Last year I had the 24-70 or 70-200 attached the majority of the time and then when needed I pulled out an SB-800.
Honestly, I didn't get any weird looks or anything like that.
There was was this really awesome/nice guy when my daughter was riding dumbo with me (
MNSSHP and it was late night/dark) and my DH was taking pics of us riding. The guy had the exact same set up as you and was taking pics of his family riding Dumbo and he started chatting with DH. Really really awesome guy (and he gave us his website and he does great work!).
Otherwise, I got the same comment as usual - when we went to a restaurant and I'd put the camera down on a table, our server would usually make comment about how big it was. And I got the "That camera must take great pictures." line ALL the time.

And when I was taking night-shots with a tripod, I was approached many times, people asking me where something was or asking me to take their picture.
Otherwise, what I found kind of amusing was I'd have my camera slung over my shoulder messenger bag style just hanging out there. Everyone else was being all super careful with theirs, and not that I'm not careful, but I'm so used to having it with me EVERYWHERE that to me it's not a big deal to have it out and about.
Anyway... have fun. Part of the fun of anything for me on vacation is having the creative freedom to document my families lives as I want too!
