Anybody Else having nightmares?

Okay. Time for everybody to sit down and Shorts will tell you a story.

It was early on a Friday morning. The time? 5ish-AM. Shorts is snuggled in her bed all nice and warm, but inside her head, terrible things were happening.

She was dreaming about the impending VMK event, the now infamous Pin-Trading spectacular!

First she gets her NPC credits as she does every morning, then heads with anticipation to the first shop. Lo and behold, there are about 30 new items for sale in the shop! Everything from necklaces to fancy dresses and the like. Excited, she heads to the next shop to see what else there is. Again, 30 new items, all different from the last shop! She decides not to buy anything until she sees it all so she doesn't waste her credits. She goes through all the shops and at the last shop notices some items have the stamp "no longer for sale" on them. Curious, she goes back to the first shop, only to find half the items "no longer for sale"!!

About that time, a note comes on the screen that says "every day for the next two weeks, the shops will be open for a random hour and a small selection of items will be available for sale. Good luck!"

She screams in a rage-school (her job) is starting back up soon! How will she ever stay on the 15 hours VMK is open every day to get what she wants???

Shorts is rudely awakened from her snuggly comfy slumber with the sad thoughts of not getting any new clothes for herself...and it's only 6am.

The end!

(Yes, I really had this dream/nightmare...and yes, I really was totally distraught when I woke up. I was mad it was too ealy for VMK because I thought it would really happen that way!)

I'll admit..many of my dreams lately, have consisted of little vmk character people and what may be going on with them!

Must be because vmk is usually the last thing I do before bed!

Priceless my foot! Now i am having panick attacks that something else will come out too soon lol. And now there are LINES for the jungle cruise again? Oh no! This can't be happening man, this can't be happening. To quote chevy chase in christmas vacation "Where's the Tylenol???"

wow. I went from 23000 and change to 17000...and i'm NOT Nedding (yes you can say that in VMK now...) until after the weekend.

yes, my DS and DD needed help, and then wanted to spiff up their rooms for the judging thing. So yep, i am down to good ol 908 lol. Cant wait for vmk to open up to get back to at least 4 digits. Will take a while for 5 though lol.

Didn't really mean that it was a dream(as opposed to a nightmare), I was just "giving her a compliment on the detail of her dream and how she told it." (That phrase in four words or less.) I'm weird that way.

I might be sorry I asked this and I'm sure my family will, but how do you manage to get 5 digits worth of credits? I thought getting over 3000 was good. I'm now down to less than 500!

How do get more than 5 digits of credits? You "roll up, roll up" to play "Crashing into the Jungle Cruise dock" for hours and hours. In fact, I'm doing it right now.

I myself last night had a VMK/DisBoards dream. We were on all a beach, much like the Tiki Tiki Island beach...and everyone was dancing completely alike. We were all having a good time when suddenly it got really dark and everyone start fighting over some thing. Also, being with all the Dis'ers, I'm sort of remembering everyone being really really old, except for myself, the player formerly known as TheIncredible, and suferrat (my subconcious still must think you're 14 dude, sorry about that). So we all got transfered to a waiting room (much like the one in "The Parlor") and sat there talking about really strange things. And that's it.

Dude, I've been having some really lame dreams. I mean dreaming about sitting in a room with "old and lame" people? I thought artists were supposed to have cooler dreams than that!

you are your character and your walking around you've played the jungle cruise got alot of credits and just when you go to buy something you crash and everything goes black and you can't get back on

I definitely dreamed about VMK most of one night this weekend ( I keep trying to use "weak end" in real life, not a good thing!). I think it was caused by sitting in rooms ALL day helping them get judged. It was really crazy! No nightmare, thankfully, actually I think I had gotten inferno. Which tells me my subconscious isn't buying my assertions that I don't expect to or even care to ever get it! ;-)

Not really, really old...more like middle aged. I dreamt in caricatures last night, think Al Hirschfeld-esque in the color schemes of the "Rhapsody in Blue" segment of Fantasia 2000. Pardon my diction everyone...hehe
