Anybody else get a call about Garden Grill ressie?

Got a call from Disney today to let me know that my Garden Grill ressie for lunch in Dec was being canceled (thanks to the dis I already knew that the GG was closing for lunch) but all they had to offer me was a 7:45pm slot for dinner. I was explained that was not going to work that I was traveling with a 5 yr old and 2yr twins and I made my reservations for lunch because my twins are in bed by 8pm. I told her I was not happy with that at all. She put me on hold and low and behold she came back with a choice of either 3:30pm or 6:15pm. I took the 3:30. Just wondering if anyone else has gotten the same call?

I had a msg. on my answering machine when I got home last night. I haven't called them back yet. It's just DD9 and I so dinner time shouldn't be a problem??

I got the call on Saturday that lunch had been cancelled. I will be traveling with a 4 and 5 year old so late really won't work for us either. They didn't have anything for dinner either of the two nights that would work for us (Nov 25/26). I am going to keep calling. Maybe something will open up. I was able to get into a late lunch (1:50) at Coral Reef. I think my dds will like that. I'm just bummed because that was our only Mickey meal. I guess we'll have to go back.

I got the call Saturday morning. I was able to rebook for an early dinner, since there's 4 kids all 4 and under in the party. I'm actually happier with our new schedule for that day. I'm sorry it didn't work out the way you wanted (unless you wanted a 3:30 dinner slot).

We got the call yesterday evening. We are 3 adults but do have all our ADRs in place since the window for our stay (November). This is certainly disappointing but not a deal breaker. I will be calling back today to try to get an early dinner for that day

We got ours 2 days ago. I wish I had known we could do a 3:30 time! We would have liked a late lunch time like that. I would think that would be a lunch time, not dinner. Strange.

I asked the CM that very question and I think the answer was "change of operations" that is all I got. I guess they are cutting costs anyway they can. My problem is why not just pick a day before people made there ressies 180 days out. Would that have been so hard. Are things that bad they had to shut it down right away? I also saw that they canceled a MNSSHP after people bought tickets. One other reason I holding off on my MVMCP tickets.
