The Visa e-mail says this is in Epcot. Just curious what characters were there and how this event was handled. A mob...or orderly?? :goodvibes

I would love to hear more about this!

I would love to know too! It is possible, though, that those who are there now do not know about this yet! We are going in August and I would love to know which characters and how crowded! :flower:

Keep us posted. I know there is a caravan of characters that drive around Wrold Showcase, stop and take photos with guests. Maybe this is more private.

Just applied for a card today. Would also like to hear more details of the Meet and Greet.

I received the information yesterday in my monthly bill. It is a cardmember exclusive character meet and greet ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo beginning July 8 at EPCOT's Innoventions West from 1:30-4:30. You have to show your card to participate and I think it also mentioned something about a keepsake photo. Haven't heard yet if anyone has done this as it only began yesterday :flower:

Thanks for the info. We are thinking about getting a dinsey visa before our next trip. I'll have to do some research on this

definitely keep us posted. Is this a daily event or just the 8th? I bet get me one of those dang cards!

The info on the flyer that came with my statement only says that it "opens July 8, 2005" and that it is "initially offered everyday at EPCOT from 1:30-4:30". The fine print on the bottom states it is limited to 6 people per card, operating times, days of the week, locations and appearance of Characters may vary. So I guess you can check with guest relations while you're there to see if the "initial" offer is still the same. The flyer also offers discounts on certain mdse at the Downtown Disney World of Disney store, DCL on board credit, and discounts on select theme park tours. You must use your Disney Visa to receive these benefits. The characater meet and greet is free, but you must show your card. It also appears that these are for the duration of the HCOE--thru Sept, '06.

I haven't experienced any of this, it's just the info I received in my statement. :cheer2:

I just got my statement and this wasn't in there. But I did see it online under their offers.

All I got in my offers was Disneyland stay 3 nights get the 4th free, some kind of Mickey or Pooh watch and the disney cruise credit.

In my statement was an offer for $50 in Disney Dream Reward Dollars for any friends who get a Disney card - PM me if you are interested. (There's nothing in it for me, btw!)

Leaving tomorrow AM! :Pinkbounc We plan on checking this benefit out at Epcot. I'll post my findings when we get back! :sunny:

I'd love to find out more about this too! We're going next April, so who knows if they'll still be offering it by then...although I think the e-mail I received said it's through Sept. 2006.
