Well, I booked our trip to stay at Pop Century this December 18-26. I will be celebrating my 33rd birthday while there on the 19th!! It's been 2 years since our last trip and I am in serious withdrawal. How are the crowds that week?

It should be fairly light when you arrive with crowds building each day. I would recommend doing all the long-line attractions early in the week. 12/25 & 12/26 will be jam packed(but fun if you can handle the people). May I be the first to wish you a happy 33rd birthday?:goodvibes

Wow! You sound just like me! We went this year from 12/20-12/29 and celebrated my 32nd birthday on the 28th. ;)
Like Micca stated it wasnt too bad at the beginning, but by Christmas it had gotten pretty crowded. However, on the good side, we managed to get a ton of stuff done. :D We got to the parks for opening, used EE at MK and AK, and used FPs when possible. Go in with a plan, be sure to make any must do Priority Seatings, and be prepared that it could be crowded and cold, and you wont be disappointed.

Hey guys, when you say cold, do you mean cold for Florida or just plain cold? Pants cold or coat and mittens cold? I reallllllly hate being cold so I will probably layer anyway but curious if shorts and swimming is a pipe dream, lol. Heated pools aside, no way am I swimming if the outside temp isn't at least 70*.

Disney4us, we arrived at the end of a cold spell. Our first night there(20th) it was very cold. We were waiting for Spectro, wearing winter jackets, and mittens, and we were still shivering(we are from MA so we are no strangers to cold). However, as the week went on it did warm up. We still neeed at least light jackets or sweatshirts in the early mornings and nights, but, during the day we made it into shorts. We did make it in the pool once and we would have gone in again on our last day, however since we had to fly home, we didnt want to be swimming beforehand.
I learned you really need to pack winter, summer and in between clothes when going that time of year. :D

You just never know. When we were there December 7-13 in 2001, we were in shorts the whole time. I had to do laundry while there because I had packed mostly jeans and sweatshirts. We even wore shorts at night and did a lot of swimming. But I heard that the year or two before that, it was in the 20's!! I don't care, as long as I am there.
