Anybody been to see Winter the Dolphin?

We loved that movie and I am wondering if we should plan a day to go to Clearwater Marine Aquarium and see Winter. Just wondering if the rest of the aquarium is worth spending the whole day at, or would we want to plan other things to do in Clearwater. What other things could we do in Clearwater?
I am figuring 93 miles from Lake Buena Vista to Clearwater so not too bad distance wise.
Any thoughts or ideas would be wonderful!!

Haven't been yet, but we are going in June. // We aren't though doing a day trip from Oralndo, but are flying into Tampa (I have a cousin who lives there) and staying two nights at Clearwater Beach. Then DS (16) is going to do a six night High School Zookeeping Camp at Busch Gardens.

From what I've read this is really just a little rescue facility and another little excursion to see some props about the movie // something you can do in just a few hours. You might want to on your day trip do this first and then if you have some extra time hit the Clearwater Beach and pier. It's really a nice beach, and with this in mind too helps justify the drive.-- So I'd say bring the swimsuits along.

Good to know, I think we will definately go early and then spend some time at the Beach and surrounding area.
