We are going for the weekend this weekend camping. We have went for the last 4-5 years for Halloweekends. Anyway, we have always packed a cooler with waters, pops, munchies etc.......and took it into the park with a wagon.

My friend tells me today that she thinks they don't allow that anymore.

To anyone who has went recently...were you able to bring in a cooler?? Did you see anyone in the parks with coolers toting them along???

Thanks
Lisa

I hate to be the one to give you bad news, but....we went 4 times this summer and they wouldn't even let us bring in a bag a Bugles and bottle of water!!! They wold us you have to leave it in your car and go out of the park to the picnic area to eat your own food. :(

Thanks Jennifer.....that really blows!! I ended up calling and they said no coolers. He said he thought it would be ok to walk in carrying a pop or water....but on their website it states no food or beverages of any kind can be bought into Cedar Point.

It really helped up save tons of money bringing our own stuff in. I emailed them to ask if we coudl leave our cooler in the picnic area though....hopefully that would help.

Thanks for answering....

When we visited with our church's youth group this summer, we left our coolers in the picnic area by the main gate. Whenever we wanted a drink or a snack, we simply headed out the front gate and over to our picnic table. You will most definitely NOT be allowed to bring any containers open or sealed into the park. Not even bottled water.

Make sure to post when you are going. I think our CP seasons passes are still good and we might be able to get one more visit out of them.

I really think that is a dumb new rule for them. We went last year AFTER 9-11 in September and we were able to bring coolers in with pop and water etc.

We are leaving this Friday and spending the weekend. We are camping in the Cedar Pt campground. Can't wait!!!!

Many people leave their coolers on the picnic tables outside the park. I generally pack liver and onion sandwiches so no one steals my cooler. :)
