Any Yellowstone budget tips and advice?

I grew up outside of Cody,WY and it snowed on my mom's birthday one year. Birthday: June 13th. So, in my opinion (and experience!) there is no time of year that is "safe" from snow when it comes to planning in Wyoming! Just pack for everything and expect whatever comes your way!

When we lived in Eastern Montana a few years ago, friends of our headed to Yellowstone over the fourth of July. They had a blizzard on the Beartooth Highway. Freaked them out good.

That would not be a road where I'd want to encounter a blizzard!!

AHHH! all these snow stories are scaring me!:scared: we go on the 13th of June, but don't hit YNP till the 16th....Grand Tetons for the first 3 days.... I am going to pack extra shoes and socks! and fleece coats and gloves! AHHHH!:upsidedow

Well when the heck does it get hot!!! lol.
I'm planning on July of next year.
