Any word on the Stitch ride

What is the latest on Stitch?

I saw one post where someone said AP'ers would have their preview in early November. But since some people getting their jollies by lying to us, I am hoping that a CM can provide reliable info.

I would be interested in this information as well. I just received the latest issue of "Vacation Magic" which is a DVC magazine that we receive it it said the ride would open in October. Of course these things are subject to change, but I was just wondering if any of the WDW CM's that post here have any good info.

I called on Sunday morning to try to get an AP rate for WL (still nothing available, by the way) and asked about this while I had the cm on the phone. I told her I had gotten a "Welcome" letter for becoming a passholder that mentioned a preview for Stitch's Great Escape this fall. She told me that it was originally supposed to be in Oct., but with all the weather problems, it was now Nov. As of now she didn't have any specific dates, since they didn't know at that point what Ivan was doing, but told me to check the passholder's web site. HTH!

The AP holders website has finally been updated to say the AP Preview is Nov. 5, 6 & 7 (much to my dismay, as I'll be home by then).

AP Preview will probably take place before the actual opening, the way the one for Mission: Space did.

There might be soft openings before that time but you'd have to walk up at the park to check.

Does anyone know how long after the AP preview that Mission:Space was officially open? I'm going to be in Disney Nov. 12 - 21. Stitch is my favorite and I've been so excited since I found out they were opening this ride when I was there in December...I will so upset if I don't get to go on it! Is it possible if the AP preview is Nov 4-6, that it will be open while I'm there???

Mission Space opened to the public August 15, 2003.

I believe I first rode it on August 3 during the passholder preview.

I'm really hoping that it'll be open for my December trip. Is there any chance that it won't be open in December?

Mission Space was open to the public in early june for a few hours a day on weekdays.
