Any word on the Hulk?

Yep sand, it's the sole decision on the theme park. They can use sand, small gravel, and foam to get the desired sound. This is another reason why hulk has been basically fully rebuilt. With the added weight of the track (sand in rails and track bottom box, or spine) they needed to beef up the columns and footers to support this.

I watched a YouTube video of this couple I'm following who live around Orlando. They posted a video showing Hulk testing...that was on 5/24/16 though they actually visited on 5/23/16 which as nearly a month ago....I don't remember if they had dummies actually in the seats but they did run the ride multiple times throughout the day in the video.

Wouldn't be TheTimTracker & JennTracker would it?? I love them

Side note.. I hoping (slightly praying) it'll be open by mid September. I consider September to be fall but you never know...

The original signs said "Roaring Back Summer 2016!" then it was changed to "Roaring back Late Summer 2016!" now they just say "Roaring Back in 2016!" so I'm going to take a wild guess and assume they have NO IDEA when it's going to open. The queue is taking longer than expected.

Here's hoping is a great queue for taking a long time!

It sure is them. I love them too they are just so cute and I enjoy their videos a lot. Yeah I myself consider September fall. I'm not going until September 2017 but I hope they are open for your trip though

They are great, so genuine too!! I watch there new videos frequently and sometimes the old ones too. Yes to myself personally I would think summer would mean thru august but only time will tell. I do hope this queue is spectacular after all this waiting. Enjoy your 2017 trip!!!

Soooo........ Just perusing the internet when I came across touringplans.com and its has a banner across the top of The Incredible Hulk Coaster's information page saying "Currently Closed. Re-opening July 22, 2016"

Here is where I saw it.

Thoughts??? Mostly wondering where they got that date, but I could have miss something as usual. lol

I liked that it was loud as you walked near the ride - I thought it added an extra punch to the intensity. Oh well, I'm curious to see how the experience has changed.

The walls are down now, the new lockers look complete, statue is up but still covered.

I thought they *wanted* it to be loud. I remember our very first visit, unloading the car in the RPR parking lot, hearing that "whoom" from the ride. It was like a siren call for DH (who cannot yet fit in the seats) and like a warning cry to me (who doesn't love coasters THAT big). Either way, it was almost a primal sound that let everyone know "The Hulk is HERE".

Are they still testing the carts? Anybody think they'll be ready by mid August to open up??

Our trip is just going to suck - (a little ) ... if it's not open. I was really looking forward this ride.

Translation: I really need someone to lie to me and tell me that Hulk will "without question" be open by mid August ... even if you know it's not true - that's fine.
