Any word on a new Pal Mickey?

I was going to buy a Pal Mickey on my last trip but then I heard that there was going to be an updated version coming out in the spring. No problem, I'll rent one to tide myself over and then buy the new one. That planned backfired when they stopped renting the Pal Mickeys! Needless to say, I was Pal Mickey-less for my Dec trip. When is the new Pal Mickey supposed to come out? Or is that still going to happen?

This is news to me. We have one, will it still work? I hope so or my DH will have a fit!

I'd read there was a LE PalMickey being made to commemorate the 50 year celebrations starting this spring.. Hope this is still the case, I've already set aside the cash!!

It shouldn't render any 'old' Pal Mickey redundant- I think all they're doing is changing his outfit!!
