Any Wellesley Inn I-drive Reviews

We are planning a spur of the moment trip to WDW. Our friends have a tour package that places them in this hotel. Any reviews? I have read mixed reviews. Please help.

Well... We stayed at the Wellesley in the summer of 2002. My mom went on business and we stayed at the Peabody for a couple nights and then went to the Wellesley. I think it was that night or the next night something happened like the pipes broke or something so everyone had to go outside and firetrucks and police came and everything. They moved us to a nearby Holiday Inn I think it was and then tried to charge my mom for that night that we had to evacuate. Since then I don't know anything. If the hotel you're talking about has a fountain in front of it then that's the hotel we stayed at. It wasn't a pleasant experience but I guess it was really one of those wrong time at the wrong place type of deals. Perhaps someone can give you a more recient report or check www.tripadvisor.com for some reviews.
