Any way to use child swap NOT going inside ride?

Has anyone ever been able to do child swap without going into the ride? On our last trip, the line for Mummy freaked out our youngest. (He has sensory issues). We went during the off-season so we didn't make him go through the line after that, as there was no wait in the regular line anyway. Our next trip is listed as moderate instead of low crowds though. We're fine with doing rider swap the regular way for all the other rides, but Mummy won't work for him.

I do not know. If no one knows, definitely ask when you're there. :)

You usually have a signature, don't you? I wanted to peek and see how old your older one is, to see if suggesting Single Rider would work for you. Uni doesn't use age as an indicator for Single Rider, but rather height, but age is a big deal with that ride specifically, if the child and parents would be OK with Single Rider. If it was OK, the adult/kid group would go through SR first, but of course be prepared to be on separate vehicles, then once they are done the other parent would go through in the same way.

I've never heard of anyone doing that, but I don't blame you...that walkthrough is dark and has some scary areas. If no one else knows, I guess you'd have to ask the workers at the entrance. My youngest would stay in the arcade next door to the mummy gift shop with his grandma (his grandma wasn't interested in riding either, so that worked for us.)
Hope it works out for you.

I would send an email to guest relations with your question

They will inform you of or if you can bypass the line prior to the ride

When j did a tour, we were taken in a back way and avoided the regular line
Came out to the ride landing and then loaded into the ride

Include your phone number in the email you send them
The so call sometimes instead of emailing you back

I have no experience doing this but...I don't see why they wouldn't let you go up the exit ramp and straight into the child swap area. That way you avoid the dark areas. Once you explain the issue, I would think it would be no problem. Again, never done this but I don't see it being a problem.

We just had two examples of this. At shrek my baby needed to be nursed. We asked if I could go on to the child swap room. They escorted the two of us on to the room while the rest waited in line. At Simpson's she was sound asleep in the stroller. I was getting her out when my husband and the ride manger walked up and he personally escorted us up to the child swap room. My husband and kids got to skip the lines too. My husband just asked a tm if we could keep her in the stroller since she was sleeping. We never expected the manager to take us up. I have never had such wonderful service while at a theme park. We were only there for 2.5 days and things like this happened several times. I can not say enough good things about the employees there.
