We're doing a three day weekend in a couple of weeks at SSR. We're flying down via Southwest. Just wondering if there are any printers and internet connection available at SSR where I could logon and print my return trip boarding passes? We're just taking carryon bags and it sure would be nice to be able to bypass checking in at the airport.

The front desk will do it for you. Just go 24 hours before your scheduled flight time and give them your confirmation numberand they will print them out for you.

Thanks. Now if Southwest will just let me print out boarding passes this time. Since my name is a very common one, in the past I couldn't print out passes but had to go to the counter at the airport (which always puts us in group C). This time I included my middle initial in my first name. Hopefully this will get me by (but who knows).

Disney has a new program that allows you to check your luggage and print boarding passes 3-12 hours before flight departure. We were at the BCV last week and took advantage of this. The person working the desk said it works like curbside check in. It was great. We check our bags and received our boarding passes (on JetBlue) 4 hours prior to departure time. When we got to the airport, we returned our rental car and went straight to the security line.

I believe you can do this only if you fly a participating airline. Currently SW is not included.

BWV guest services printed our SW boarding passes in Nov.I would guess any of the resorts would do the same.

Yes, Disney resorts on both coasts will gladly print boarding passes.

With Southwest, did you put in your confirmation number? That should pull your unique reservation regardless of name. Just wondering, because I had a similar problem back when you had to sign in at the airport (my whole family has the same initials, and it happened there was another guy on the flight with the same ones too), but I was expecting that wouldn't happen again (for example, it doesn't happen when we fly under different reservation numbers, as we often must on Southwest, even though our names are so similar).

Print out your confirmation letter from S/W showing your flight and confirmation number. Go to the front desk, NOT guest services, 24 hours before. They will gladly print you 'A' boarding passes.
Also don't forget to sign up for M.E., you won't be able to check your bags at SSR on S/W but you can still get a free ride.

Have a great trip.

We just got home from our trip to SSR and flew on Southwest. We went to the front desk and they printed our boarding passes 24 hours before our flight. We had to take our own luggage to the airport on the Magical Express bus but Orlando has an automated check-in for those with electronic tickets. There was no one in that line and we just walked up, put in our confirmation number, answered their questions about how many bags and they printed off the luggage tags. Someone from Southwest put the tags on our luggage and we then dropped it off at the X-Ray area and left it there. It was wonderful and took no time at all. I hope your have a great trip - we sure did! :earsgirl:

Anyone know if AirTran has been added to the list of "participating airlines" ? As of Sept they weren't.
