Any Way to Check on BOG FP+ Availability without cancelling current BPG FP+?

Hi,

Got an e-mail from Disney about booking BOG FP+ for upcoming trip. I wasn't planning to do so, but I followed the link and was able to get FP+ for one of our planned MK days.

My sister will be joining us later in the trip and I thought it might be nice to see if I can get BOG FP+ for when she's with us instead of the one I have for earlier in week.

When I went to BOG site, the only way I could check out FP+ for another day was to cancel the one I already had. I don't want to do that because I don't know if I can get it for another day and I don't want to lose what I have.

I thought like other FP+ or online ADRS if I want to change something I already have I can check for other availabilities before canceling what I have. Does anyone know if I can check other BOG FP+ availability without having to first cancel what I already have booked? Oh, and I'm assuming you can't have more than one BOG FP+ during a single stay no matter how many days you're there.

I haven't had more than one FP+ for one reservation number, and I also can't change the number people for our dining party (assuming your sister isn't on your reservation).

You don't change anything (ie prior reservation) until you confirm anyway so I think you're fine just looking at availability.
 
My sister is on MDE. I have all her info linked to my account and when I booked FP+ for the days she's with us she came up in my people to choose.
So I think I should also be able to select her if I book a day she's at Disney.

When I went to BOG site I clicked change/schedule FP+. Then the days I'm at Disney came up. When I clicked on a different day from my scheduled FP+ I got a notice saying that if I continue my current FP+ will be cancelled. So I didn't go any further in fear of losing the FP+ I already have.
 
Wendy; how many days before your trip did the invitation e-mail for BOG (lunch) arrive? We are 28 days out and I think we are close. Thanks
 

I'm not sure if the system has changed, but in March, I was unable to add my in-laws when I made our BOG FP. They were linked to our MDE and we made FPs all together, but I had to do their BOG separately.
 
BOG lunch is CS. You choose your own seats, right? I wonder whether you can just make a FP+ reservation for your sister separately at the same time on the same day and just check in together. Will this work?

I changed my reservation once, and played around using my phone when doing that. First I changed the date and time then exited the page, my reservation stayed and did not get changed. The second time I made the changes and hit save. My reservation was changed to the new time and date. This was done last week.

When you log onto the site choose select/replace and then pick day you want, if there is nothing at the day/time you want just hit cancel and your original FP will still be there since you didn't actually pick another to replace it.

As for adding other people, on mine I can only pick me and my mom for all of the days that we are there (she is staying in the same room/same reservation #). I can't see my cousin and his entire family on any of the days even though we are linked in MDE (and can make ride FP+ all at once) since he is under a different reservation # (just like he can't see me/mom).

I may be wrong but since it is only for on-site guests unless your room reservation #s are linked it may only let you choose the people under your reservation. If she has her own on-site room you might be able to get similar times and still eat together.

Again I might be wrong on this so anyone with more experience please correct me :thumbsup2
 
We're scheduled to arrive 8/21 and I got the e-mail within the past week. - In fact I got 2 emails! (I have a split stay).

We were able to choose our meals with this FP+ and we did. This way the foods ready for you when you get there. I'm not concerned about seating as it is CS. But right now I have the FP+ for a day my sister won't be there as when I first made it there was no availability for when she was with us. I just want to check to see if anything opened up for later in the week (when she's with us) and if so I will change it.

I'll try again when I have time...maybe I can call and see if a CM can help.
 
BOG FP+ are not going so fast that you can't cancel the first try and make the second and if that doesn't work go back and reset the first, I just did this yesterday, for my reservation on Aug 27, we are in 3 differnt roms, so I had 3 different reservations numbers just kept going back and forth till I got all three in the same time frame, we have a split stay so I even changed the one from the first day over to when everyone else came in, as I was waiting for my daughter to txt me her reservation info so I could set that up, once she did , I went back and reset the first one back to the original day, so no issues.
