Any Waitlist Chances????

DW and I are traveling to WDW for our anniversary May 16-19 (In on Friday, out on Monday). We have gotten our reservations for AKV (our home resort) for Friday and Saturday nights and are waitlisted for Sunday night. In the meantime, we have a studio reserved at SSR for that Sunday night. We really don't want to "move" when we are only staying 3 nights total. This is our first trip "home" as DVC members. What are our chances of the waitlist coming through?

Your chances are pretty good. But don't worry about it. We have done many split stays. It's quite simple. When you are ready to leave your room in the AM call a bell hop, they will come and get all your stuff.


Go to your new resort, and check in, so that your room will be ready ASAP.

Eat breakfast and then go spend the day at the parks or dtd or where ever.

At the end of your day go back to the new resort, have a bell hop bring up your stuff for you. It really is no trouble at all.
