Any Vera Bradley sales experts here?

Does anyone know if VB has really good black friday or cyber monday online sales? I want to get my Mom the Grand Traveler in black for Christmas but holding out for a good deal. The patterned pieces are on sale often, but we are not fans of those. I've searched for a non VB similar but haven't found one that has everything the VB does (trolley strap, lady-like style, good quality).

this was just on sale not too long ago.... I got an email that the black was buy one piece get one 50% off. If you sign up for their emails, they will email you deals almost every day...at least a few times a week.

I'm pretty sure they do Cyber Monday sales. Make sure you buy a coupon on eBay before then. That will make any deal even better.

I saw that, but I only need one so that sale didn't help. I haven't bought anything from VB in over a year but I still get emails, but it's usually 20% or so. I'm hoping for a really good sale because that bag is $140!

I do get the e-mails from VB and I think they are having specials every Monday until (around) Thanksgiving. Keep watching - everything runs in cycles so hopefully it will appear soon. Also, call around to the independent stores as they might have their own sales not related to the website.

I got that email today too and I had a $20 off $75 they sent me earlier this month that is good thru 10.31. However, when I put the bag in my card, it discounted it 25% then I tried to apply the coupon and it won't allow the coupon because the 25% will not allow any further discounts I was bummed. I like the bag, but at 25% off it still $111.75 and really not worth it IMO.

That's too bad. You can sign up somewhere on their website for emails and put in your birthday month. They will send you a birthday coupon that is for 40% off one item. That bag probably won't get much cheaper than that.
