Any Vera Bradley lovers out there?

Love Vera Bradley (however, I like her stuff in accessories). Prints drive me crazy in big stuff like Backpacks, totes.

I love New Hope. What an unbelievable pattern and a great charity. It is perfect!

I have a small cosmetic case and my check book cover. It matches perfectly with my black and my fuisha pink Coach bags.

New Hope is terrific!

I love Vera Bradley too!!! And it doesn't help that my local craft store has one of the biggest selections in this area!! I go crazy in there!!LOL

I have the bermuda blue bucket tote with the matching wallet, the sherbet print little betsy, the lime green micro fiber backpack, and the satchel in the the hope toile pattern with matching luggage tag. I also have the petal pink belt. I've even started my DD(8) on her collection! She has the petal pink bitty betsy with a matching mirror.

I do not think that these bags are "out". It's just that they are "in" for certain people!!LOL They are very popular where I live and we see so many knock offs now! DD and I always can spot them. Our local AC Moore craft store has the knock offs for like $15-$20!

I love my VB bags and have my eye on a couple new ones!!
Haven't had to wash them yet so I hope when I do they stay looking great!

Pink Petal is another one I want.... maybe in a Little Betsy.

I love mine! Got DD the matching Bitty Betsy in the Petal pink too. :) She LOVES it!. Little Betsy is great for me, plenty of space and lots of pockets.

I LOVE my Java Blue Miller bag - I use it as my airplane carry-on quite frequently.

I have the luggage (large duffle, small duffle, cosmetic bag etc) in the New Hope pattern. I don't really use any as a purse although I have a couple of styles but I love the luggage for weekend getaways!!! :thumbsup2

I have several! All but 2 have been gifts. I have to say the Villager is probably the single most convenient book bag I've ever owned. I have it in Piccadilly Plum and Indigo.

In handbags I have:Provincial Red, Blue Toile, Classic Black, and Nantucket Navy.

I have wristlets in: bees, Nantucket Red, Piccadilly Plum, and Animal Kingdom.

I want the Java Blue tie tote if I don't get a Coach bag this year for my birthday.

HEY!!!.....what are you doing over here?
Are you lost??? LOL
Uh oh....I see we both have another addiction in common...

I posted these under the "Fads you wish would go away" thread. I just find the purses that looks like quilts, um, rather granny-like. But to each her own!

I'm sporting the Bermuda Blue Bucket Tote as we speak :thumbsup2 I love the size.

Has anyone tried washing them?????

I wash mine all the time, inside out, after taking the covered cardboard out of the bottom. I also have my VB luggage dry cleaned when it gets dirty. :rotfl2: I know, I am very anal about clean VB.

I love my VB for summer handbags because even though they may look granny like, they are good quality, inexpensive and lightweight, which is very important when vacationing.

Well, it seems that these are very popular with younger girls/teens, so I don't think they are granny-like at all. I was actually thinking maybe I (40 something) was too old for one.

I have had a few for a few years. It's a tradition, I get one with each cruise I go on!! Then once I get the carry on I need the purse and a wallet. I haven't bought a new one for the summer. I am kind of tired of them. I will always use it as a carry on and I DO want a diaper bag when we have a baby but I am saving my pennies now for a coach purse.

I totally don't get Vera Bradley. So I came here to try to understand the rage. Everywhere I go I see the blue and brown pattern. Everywhere. Around here you can tell what town a woman is from by her Vera bag. I don't care what the age of the bag carrier; to me they look like granny bags. :confused3

Oh, well... to each his own, I think they're cute.

Add me to the list of someone who doesn't get it. I don't find them inexpensive at all, not for cloth.

I love all of my Vera Bradleys. At last count I had 10. I love to go to the Ft. Wayne sale and am always on the lookout for a good buy on one.

My DD who is 10 is becoming a Vera Bradley girl too! We were at Goodwill one day and she came over all excited that she found Vera Bradley bags for sale. I just knew they were fakes, but she kept telling me they were the real thing. She was right!! We were shocked that we found them there!!

Love my Vera! Apple Green Villager with the matching wallet w/strap (love that little thing)

Funny, the comments about the *granny bags* because a friend of mine works in a really upscale shoe store where they sell they $500+ handbags that look like something that Jessica Simpson or Paris Hilton would carry (ya know, the ones that are white or gold leather with the grommets?)

She has girls come in every week (college town) who spend in excess of $1,000 on bags that I swear my MeeMaw had when I was growing up and I wouldn't be caught dead carrying one! I can just see her jingling around with all her bracelets and this great big gaudy gold bag!:rotfl2: It's funny what we associate with *Grannies* (see below)

I will say, however that the Vera's do have a "old-fashioned" simple style that I LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I didn't used to get them until I found this:

I just loved the tropical silk pattern! Now I see what good quality they are. They aren't just a quilt, they're very soft, thick, and sturdy. And cheap compared to a Coach! Now I have my eyes on these:

Java blue

picadilly plum

Hope

I'm becoming addicted....:sad2:

This is my kinda thread! I love Vera Bradley bags!! I have the Java Blue Bucket tote and change purse and Toggle tote.. I am hoping for something in Sherbet for my anniversary!

DD14 & I both are in LOVE with our Vera Bradley's! We both have a few different patterns and styles each. Vera Bradley bags have become my addiction! :)
