Any urgency to cash out at Mypoints?

Given the problems with crediting and the attitude that Mypoints seems to be taking, do you think it would be best to cash out for the minimal rewardthat I have available or wait until to see if my missing points credit which should bring me to a much better reward.

In other words, are they in danger of going under?

Mypoints goes through this every once in a while, where it takes them a couple weeks to catch up, even with the email points. I'm sure we'll be fine.

MyPoints has been around long enough that I don't figure they will go under without some kind of warning. They have been around the longest and is the only one that still pays rather quickly.

I just cashed out another Rainforest GC. I just checked the status and it has posted, but has a 7/1/05 date under the debit points. I also haven't been credited with any points since 4/28, but they did debit points on 5/2. Color me confused.

I read the other thread about not crediting points, so I know I'm not alone. Sure is frustrating though! I had to, once again, e-mail them about a large Lancome credit that wasn't posted.

It almost seems like they don't have the staff or technology to keep up with the demand.

I have only once in three years had a problem with points not crediting and it was resolved albeit slowly. Cash out was very quick too both times that I did. All items have been received in a very short amount of time (around 10 days). I don't think I would worry too much.

The date under debit is always far out - doesn't mean it will take that long to get your card. Usually just takes a couple weeks.

That's what I was hoping. The last GC I requested came is just one week! My concern was that I never recall seeing a date under the debit points, but I may just have never noticed. Thanks for letting me know about it cuterlt!!

On a side note this makes $75 in Rainforest cards for me and $50 for my sister. We each hope to get another $50 before our trip in October and treat our party of 10 to a nice lunch during our stay!

They gave me a far off date for my Starbucks gift card I cashed out for but 10 days later it has now been shipped. MyPoints does their redemptions like that sometimes but it has never taken that long and I have cashed out A LOT!!!! They may have to wait for a new order of gift cards or something.
