Any updates on when Akershus Royal Banquet Hall will reopen?

A recent post on some other disney unofficial news site showed a pic that they very recently redid the sign outside. That could be a sign that it might be coming back soon'ish?

I’m watching it.

Perhaps I remember incorrectly, but when I looked on disneys page a couple weeks ago it said “currently unavailable”.

Today I checked and there is a menu and pricing. However when I look to make a reservation it then says currently unavailable.

It still says temporarily unavailable. We loved the Akershus breakfast and the princess parade. I’ve given up hope that it’s coming back for our trip in 2 weeks.

When this WAS operating, did it open very early for breakfast? Like a pre-park opening option?

There was a pre-park opening option (much like Cinderellas table in Magic Kingdom). You could book like 8 or 830ish I believe. This was great!
One restaurant that definitely needs to come back with the character interactions in mid-April.

I thought that was for a festival. I am holding on hope it is not a permanent thing. I think the sponsors of food and wine (or some other festival) used it for that time. I would really love this restaurant to open for the little ones.

I'm assuming they are waiting for full character meets to come back, and then they have to staff the restaurant.

The cultural representative program is coming back in August. My guess would be they are waiting to bring back our Scandinavian friends to staff the restaurant. These CMs would have to go through training, etc. I’d think a mid-late August reopening would be most likely, but that’s just a guess based on the fact that since my first meal there in 2009 it’s been almost exclusively staffed (to my eye, not facts) with Scandinavian cast members.

I am so excited this program is restarting. We visited in May of last year, and it really solidified for us how much they add to Epcot.
