My family and I are off to YC on 1/13 and are wondering what the status of Stormalong Bay's rehab is. Is the slide closed? We're hoping that perhaps they are ahead of schedule and the kids will be able to use the slide :cool1:

Thanks!

Hi, from Mass also! We were at the Yacht Club from 12/9-12/13 and they had the lazy river section of SAB closed off. Unfortunately, I don't know if they were on schedule. We didn't see anyone working on it during our stay. I have an 8 year old and a 14 year old who swam for probably a total of 2 hours the whole time we were there. The pool was heated and even though the sun was warm, the air temp was pretty cool. My 14 year old went down the slide twice and the younger one went 4 or 5 times and that was it. It's a bit of a walk from where the slide lets you out, to where you have to get back on again and it was cold walking around in a wet bathing suit. I felt bad that we had to be there during a rehab, but during our entire stay, we didn't see more than a dozen people in the pool at one time.

Have the Quiet Pools been overly crowded since the rehab has begun on SAB? I'm staying at the BC in February so I want to know what to expect.

Thanks! :boat:
