Any unexpected work on properties during shutdown?

With buildings being unexpectedly empty for 3 months, I'm wondering if DVC took advantage of the downtime to do any major work that would ordinarily displace guests. Not stuff like the GF-to-MK walkway that was planned and didn't displace guests. Anyone hear about any projects (I could have slept through some big news)?

Nope. Nearly all work at WDW ceased during the shutdown.

Thanks. Construction crews never seemed to stop around here.

It was Disney's decision to stop the work. Construction was listed as essential under all "safer at home" orders in Florida.

I'm sure it allowed them to reduce other staff who would be needed on-site because of construction, but it seems a bit like a missed opportunity.

I thought it was a Union decision not to work during the shutdown.
