Any Ty Classic experts out there?

I'm at my wits end. I've been looking and looking for info on what seems to be a VERY RARE Ty Classic, Screech the cat. I swear, I've been searching on the computer so long that I'm about to go cross-eyed!

What is the deal with this cat? I can't find one for sale anywhere, nor can I find any info about him.

Can anyone here help me out with info about this Ty Classic? Any info at all would help.

Nope, Screech is a black cat, and apparently very "illusive".

I checked Ty's website, and they don't list a Screech anywhere. I looked in the Classic retired list and also the beanie baby list, then did a whole site search for "Screech". It didn't pull up any matches at all.

Are you sure it was a Ty product?

Ty doesn't list many of the Ty Classics or Ty Plush that came out before the year 2000 on their website. On a couple of websites that lists "almost" all of the Ty Classics, I did find Screech on the list and that he's retired, but that's it.

Screech is definately a Ty product though. I know that for SURE.

Hmmmmmm, it's a mystery.
