I was unable to link my tickets from UT into MDE, last Sept. They were RFID tickets. After 2 long phone calls somebody in IT was able to do it for me. From what I saw on these boards, I was not alone. At that point MDE was still new and a work in progress. I sense that it is no longer a problem. Could someone confirm that they have, recently, been able to link UT tickets without difficulty. I would really like to use UT because it will save me 10%. TIA

No trouble at all both mine and my daughters have been linked for our Sept trip.

Easily linked my dd's for our trip in June.

My brother did mine for our trip in May and I don't believe he had any issues with it.

I have 5 day tickets from UT
I bought over a year ago...just to avoid price increases...they are NOT RFID!
UT said I had to take them to Disney and D. would give me tickets that are RFID.....so am I able to link these to our account....?

Last time we went to WDW in Jan..we had AP's...so no problem..they have expired...

I did 6 tickets from UT for our trip in Dec. 2013. I had also bought
them last year before the price increase. I just plugged in the
numbers on the tickets to our MDE, and they worked with our bands.

Good luck.

You would only need to convert them to RFID tickets if you were going to use the actual tickets to enter the park. Once you link tickets to your MDE account, if you're staying on property you would then use your Magic Band to enter the park.

Okay..that's what i thought just link them like i did our AP that expired...I will bring the UT tickets with of course just in case...
No I really didnt want to bother changing them into RFID tickets.

we used MB in Jan and all went well...I had made all the FP at home on line..it was just the 2 of us that trip...
Thanks guys for your repsonse...

My friend bought a ticket from UT when the price increase was announced. We were able to link it to the Magic Band with no problems.

I bought tickets from UT in 2012 (non-expiring, never used), and I could not get them to link to MDE because I could not locate some of the numbers (security code) that MDE was requesting. So I tried scanning the backs of the cards with the MDE phone app, and it worked!
