15 days and counting and though I've been to Disney so many times, I still get overwhelmed by all it has to offer! I'm going with my boyfriend and this is his very first trip to WDW so I really want it to be perfect... We're staying at POR (my first time there) and I'm hoping I made a good choice.
Does anyone have any tips/secrets to share to make this magical for him? Anything - dining, resorts, not to be missed, best viewing locations - well you get the idea!
PS - he's a big Pooh Bear fan and I made a PS for the Crystal Palace breakfast!
Thanks

They offer carriage rides at POR. You can book them ahead of time. My family is doing one when we go at the end of the month. $30 for a half hour. What a bargain!

Besides the attractions at each Park, there are three events that you should definitely see, On the evening you are going to EPCOT, plan on seeing Illuminations which is a great event, On the evening you will be at MK, the Wishes fireworks from in front of the castle at the end of Main Street is a must see and standing at the end of Main Street you get to see Tinkerbell go overhead (from the right side of the castle as you look up Main Street, Tink glides over toward the Tommorrowland building). Finally plan on eating Dinner at MGM using the Fantasmic Package and then go see Fantasmic that night. These are three events not to be missed. Don't forget that at Pleasure Island at night is really fun to see a comedy show or dancing to the various music choices and they have fireworks each night at 12:00 midnight.

Don't forget Bob Jackson's show in the River Roost Lounge at POR!!!! It's a real hoot and it's free!!!!

We just got back from WDW. We found Pooh, Eeyore and Tigger at Epcot in United Kingdom along with Mary Poppins. It wasn't too busy back there, I think in the toy shop. I don't think alot of people realized they were back there. You can get some great pics with them!
We also did the character dinner at Crystal Palace with them. I think if you sit along the outer walls in there you are more likely to get them to not miss you. We were sat in the middle and the only one who stopped at our table was piglet. The CM had to take us around to the characters to get pics because we had been waiting.
Hope that little bit of info helps. Have fun. If you have any other questions I will try to answer what I can. This was our first time to WDW. We were there Oct3-7th and did the Halloween Party.
Have a Blast!

I think a great thing to do is dinner at the California Grill at the top of the Contemporary Hotel. The food is great a little more expensive but well worth it. If you book on a night the fireworks are showing at the Magic Kingdom it makes it more special. I wouldn't miss this place we always make it a must do on every trip. Have Fun!!!

No you don't need to register ... I believe he does his show Wed-Sun, but you may want to check with POR.

Once you know his schedule, just show up and be prepared to participate!!
