Why would moving eat up 3/4 of your day each time you move?
We now split stay every trip, twice a year. I have bell services pick up my bags before we head out to the parks in the morning, tell them which resort they are transferring to, head out to the park of the morning, take the bus back to our new resort and check in after lunch at the new resort. Most of the time room is already ready, and we call bell services at the new resort to bring up our bags. They aren't guaranteed at the new resort until 4 (I think that's the correct time, but we've never actually had to wait.) Then we take a nap, go to the pool, etc. before we head out to our dinner ressies and PM park.
Our KTTW still work to charge from our first room. We have APs, so we don't have to worry about tickets being on our KTTW. I've never had a problem. <knock on wood> I was against it at first when my DH wanted to try it, but now I really enjoy it. I wouldn't say it takes up more than about 30 extra minutes a day packing up room, checking in/out and waiting for bell services.
Two last tips...
I order two tubs from Office Depot to be delivered with our water....one for cold storage and one for toiletries. Instead of having to pack up everything in ziploc bags, so it won't leak, I just throw it in a tub. I label it with our names (and put "cold storage" on the kitchen one), and I have never had a problem. Makes packing up the "old" room a snap, and moving into the "new" room even easier!
TIP BELL SERVICES WELL! They are the ones responsible for most of your smooth transition!
