Well we are getting down to the final days before our trip! :) I am excited, scared, nervous, and thrilled all at once.

So far I have slightly re-injured my back, the weather up here is looking really iffy for our drive to the airport, and it looks like it will be a pretty rainy week in Florida. :( Despite all of that I am trying to stay optimistic. :)

I am just now starting to pull out the suitcases and really start packing. We leave for Kansas City Friday night after work for our Saturday flight so I pretty much have today and then Mon-Thurs. evenings after DS is asleep to get it all together.

Any last minute tips/suggestions? This is our 1st trip with Nathan and I have tried to prepare but we pretty much do not have any clue what to expect when it comes to WDW with a kid. Planning for this trip has been so different from those "DINK" trips DH and I used to enjoy. ;)

What Serena said. I was going to offer to babysit.

But reallly, the main thing with a child in tow is to not try to do everything. WDW will be there the next time you go. Take time to rest and enjoy the small things.

Take lots of pictures & video!!!! These will be priceless for years to come.
In fact just this morning while working out I was watching video from our trip when our kids were 8 months and 3 1/2(now 4 & 7). OMG, they were precious. :teeth:

Have a great time and get ready to tell us all about it when you get back!

No suggestions Becka... Just wanted to say have a great time... But what could be better than seeing WDW through Sweet Nathan's eyes!

Take time to enjoy it through a childs eyes. Don't feel you have to do everything this time. Be on look out for fellow Disers:) I'll be there myself.

If you are renting a stoller, bring a scarf and tie it onto the handle. Easier to pick out of a sea of strollers.

If you have access to a freezer....freeze juice boxes the night before you go to the parks. They'll stay colder and more refreshing.

Bring in small snacks for your child. It's easier to distract him with a treat. (I know, bad mommy.....)

Many little ones are petrified of the characters because of their "largeness". Don't push the character picture unless you know your child is okay standing near Goofy (mine wasn't.)

Becka, I will be there too at the same time, so I will be looking for you to say hello!
Yes the weather looks a bit iffy now, but it's better than the cold and snow we have had this year, I'm tired of it.
See you ( hopefully ) soon!

Don't you need a babysitter? ;) Have a fabulous time!

One piece of advice: have a great trip<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_2_116.gif' border=0></a> and take lots of pictures!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_1_111.gif' border=0></a>

Have as much fun as possible, make <b>magical</b> memories and take lots of photos of our Nathan.
