Seems to be a waste of time for me. VERY frustrating. It shows nice low prices and then I click through and find that fare has now sold out and is way more expensive. What's the point of their calendar/graph system if all the data is always out of date? Am I missing something? :confused3

Use Kayak. I also found SkyScanner a waste of time. It does work for some, but it hasn't for me. Took me ages to get completely unsubscribed to all their emails too :scared1: and removed the app from my phone. Kayak on the other hand was great as you can put in trackers for the route and date you want and it sends you specific, relevant updates to the prices

I use Skyscanner or Kayak as an indicator of prices but then go direct to the airlines site....everytime I've managed to find it a little cheaper that way.....

Can you cancel kayak alerts easily?

Ps what's this bay lake add on :rotfl2:

I use it as an additional search, I get Kayak alarts every morning (even now after they are all booked, I like to know if I booked at the right time or not) 5 or 6 searched every day using Kayak, Skyscanner, Momondo and any other I feel like doing.
I struggle to find some flights on any search engine, like Jet Blue, our flights were released Sunday (and booked) yet they are still not on the search engines. JB were also supposed to send me an email when released, still not happened. Thankfully someone on Dibb spotted them as they have already risen $50pp.
So as many search engines a poss and if you know the flights you want then direct with that airline.

Yes, I changed my Kayak alerts numerous times while searching and had several for various dates and airports etc and there were no issues. It's a search site so you don't book through them; you book through the TA or airline. They just pull up the best prices for you from one place. I prefer to book directly with the airline.

The Bay Lake add on was a moment of insanity that dictated I am worthy of a little luxury ;) The wine helped too :rotfl2:
