Any tips for finding items lost at a resort?

We just checked out of POFQ earlier today and realized tonight we left Dd’s Beloved stuffed animal in our room almost certainly in the bed sheets.

Left a lost and found message already. Any tips from those that successfully recovered items under similar circumstances? We had such great trip ... so sad to have it end this way!

I don't want to make your experience any worse, but once, I left an umbrella in the food court at Pop Century, and filled out a lost and found report at the front desk, but never got my umbrella back. You might try calling the resort (yes I know all calls to resorts go to a central number, but its worth a shot) and seeing if anything ever came of your report. Good luck!

If the housekeeper noticed it, it’ll make its way to l&f and stands a decent chance of getting back to yiu.

If the housekeeper didn't notice then it would be bundled in the sheets and off to the industrial washers and dryers. Probably a much lower chance of getting home.

Once my daughter left her bathing suit cover up hanging on bathroom door at POR. We were still onsite, transferred to WL. We realized fairly early, and asked to be connected to POR housekeeping. She sent a runner to our room, found item and sent it on to WL for us.
So there is hope. I’d see if you can get transferred by phone to POFQ housekeeping.
