Any tips for finding certain "home" resort renters?

I was wondering if there were lists somewhere with who rents their points and what "home" resort they have?

I know there is the renting thread which they post what they have to offer, just curious if there was something I could see so I knew who to check out that could reserve 11 months in advance.

ask them - most certainly want to rent them or they won't be posting in the rental

Can't do that. Only owners can post with the points they have to rent.

To the OP: Find a member who is renting their points. Click on their screen name on the left side of the page. The click on Find More Posts by XXX. That will show you how and what they post on the DIS. That will help you find out a little about them. Then send them a message and see what they have to offer if their posts look interesting and serious to you.

Oh, I didn't notice that change. I guess since I went from renter to owner the rule changed! Kind of a bummer. Lots of rules these days on the rent/trade board. I guess it was getting unruly.

Thank you Pat and Deb. I didn't think of looking at their posts to see what resort they post about. I will also keep my eye out for their signatures as well. I love this place! Everyone is so helpful!!

Scan through the list of threads on the Rent/Trade board. Many renters put the resort in the thread title, for example "Points for Rent: 200 AKV points". Just search for the resort you are interested in (using your browser's search function) on the first 2-3 pages of the Rent/Trade board.
