Any Tips for Finding a Project Linus Opportunity?

Hi,

I would love to participate in the Project Linus opportunity but our travel group ranges several states. Does anyone have a tips for how to go about signing up? Some of us are very rural so we don't have a place near us, do you know if you can sign-up somewhere else and just mail the blankets?

You can try these locations out of Wichita, KS or the National Headquarters and see if they still are signing people up. Both allow you to mail blankets in.

A friend informed me last night that the Wichita, KS opp was closed. I couldn't believe it--they needed 10,000 blankets!!!

My thought as well. Even if you're all on the same reservation, you don't all need to volunteer together. You'll each individually get a voucher for a free ticket that you can do what you like with when you get there.

I was just able to sign up for the Witchita, KS area Project Linus. I'm so excited! This opportunity wasn't being offered in my area, so was excited to be able to mail in the blankets!

OtherFigment - Thank you so much for replying. One quick question, did you go to the Disney Give A Day website and type in the Witchita address or did you go about it some other way?

I went to the Disney site and typed in Witchita, KS, requested the info, then clicked on the link they emailed me which redirected me to the Disney site again. It's a little elaborate, but I got signed up!
