Any tips for checking for cancelled ADRs?

I just discovered that an added morning EMH at AK has completely thrown a wrench into the schedule I had been meticulously planning for MONTHS and now am scrambling to make new ADRs to fit our new schedule. I got pretty lucky in rescheduling most of our ADRs, but am having trouble with one (breakfast at Tusker House). Does anyone have any tips on checking in to see if any new ADRs have opened up (because of cancellations or otherwise)? Is there a particular time of day that's good to check, or should I just keep checking and checking through the website? Any other secret tips? Thanks!

No secret tips, just keep checking everyday! I was in need of a 6pm @ Coral Reef for 1/26, but only could get a 4:25. Who wants to eat dinner at 4:25? But I kept checking everyday, and today, low and behold, I got it. And this was at around 3 this afternoon. So I don't know about the times of day. But I have heard that people have had luck first thing in the morning.
At any rate, don't give up! Keep trying and pixie dust that you get what you're looking for!:wizard:

when you are there check the day before and you might get lucky. I would just keep checking in the meantime b/c people are still adjusting to the plans.

I agree that there doesn't seem to be any special time when more ADRs are released. Your best bet is to be persistent. Check the online site as many times as you are willing and sometimes you get lucky. Also, be willing to try right up until the day (or in your case night before). You never know!

I've usually found that the week of my trip almost all the places I wanted to get into would start opening up. I think people just double, triple, etc. book their adr's and luckily a few begin to cancel what they won't be using as they solidify their schedule. Good luck!
