-vs official Dis resorts or even DVC resorts? Can you get to the Monorail from the Dolphin without going through EPCOT or a long walk?

Swan/Dolphin reservations are eligible for the 60 day FP+ booking window. Need to call resort to get Disney confirmation number which can be linked to MDE. No MagicBands for Swan/Dolphin stays.

Also eligible for EMH and can have purchases delivered to resort.

Can you pay extra on your own and get the magic bands or even do a split stay and get the bands earlier if you plan to stay at an official Disney resort later? Thx!

You can buy magic bands, and if you have admission tickets they can be linked to your bands

Yeah you can re use MB's or get them from a split stay.

I'm staying there for the first time my next trip...so far the only weird thing was not getting the 180 day + 10 dining reservation...and no room charge (or use as a key) but everything else is the same..and best of all you can get all your SPG benefits/points.

Well? We don't stay there, as we are DVC owners.....

But every trip, twice per year. we go to the WONDERFUL Restaurants at Swan Dolphin..... Shula's, and Il Mulino.

I just got back from a stay at Dolphin, literally just back about 2 hours ago. It is my third, first one at Swan last year, Dolphin in Dec. then Dolphin last week. I love the Epcot resorts and if I can't get into YC/BC or BW, I've found Swan/Dolphin a good alternative. However, this last stay was not the best. We got there around 2 knowing our room probably wouldn't be ready even though I had requested early check in. It wasn't. Around 5:30 still no text or call so hot and tired from Epcot we went and asked and sure enough the room was ready. O.k. that can be overcome. Got to the room and took a shower and needed to be wearing swimmies the tub was that backed up. We were only there for 3 nights and I didn't want to deal with a plumber coming to the room so we dealt with it. I had to take the stopper out of the bathroom sink because it had the same issue. They are doing construction on the lobby, a fact I was aware of and didn't have a problem with. However, we got a phone call that the electricity would be off during the night on Monday. Florida, hot nights and no windows that open and the electricity gets turned off. It was off for about 4 hours and hotter than heck and the construction noise was pretty bad. We go back to the room in the afternoons, usually to the pool but yesterday I was hot and tired so I just rested in the room and the construction noise was pretty bad. We were on the 5th floor so I'm not sure why we could hear the noise. I have reservations for the Dolphin next month for F&W and can't find anything else in an Epcot resort except the Swan or I'd switch.
