Hello! I am new to the boards so excuse me if I ask something thats been answered. I didn't see any really good answers, so here goes....

I'm thinking of traveling to WDW solo later this year and I've thought about trying to go for as cheap as possible as far as fare, room, tickets, the main things, etc. goes. I want to convince others that I work with that you can go and have a good time on a budget. I'll be traveling from Tennessee. Has anyone heard anything or had any experiences riding Megabus? I've heard it discussed on the podcast but they didn't review it just talked about the service.

What about the Orlando city bus service? Does anyone like it or not like it? I would probably be staying at the Econo Lodge close to International Drive.

Thanks for any info!

I'd suggest first contacting the transportation dept. at the airport for the most economic options to get you to your motel/resort with luggage. Once on property, all transportation is free, so you'll not get a better deal than that ;)Further savings: spend time in and around your resort (DTD is free as well) and buy one-day park tickets for the parks you want on the day you want. Utilize your resort refrig and eat half of your meal--take home the other half as portions are very large in most of the dining establishments. there are guidebooks on how to do WDW like you want to do the information is well-worth the money for the book.
