Does anyone think they will do something like the villains dessert party at mnsshp at mvmcp. I'm not thinking a villans dessert party but maybe they'll through some type of frozen dessert party? Seems like the trend... Or something along the lines of that?

If the MNSSHP one sells well you can probably count on it. As for whether it's Frozen related, who knows. If it is Frozen related it will sell out rapidly.

That's true. I couldn't think of another like Christmas/winter-ish theme party so I said frozen lol but yes I agree it would probably sell fast. I enjoy the mnsshp and mvmcp, I wouldn't mind seeing something new in them like that, the price is just a bit hefty.. I guess we will see!

I'm hoping for something special in the castle like their doing for the Halloween parties ... But it's just 2 of us so I could afford to pay for us, but if we were bringing the whole extended family at 99 bucks a person I wouldn't even consider it yikes too much! I agree Frozen would be the most obvious theme for Christmas yet it is Cinderella's castle so ??? The Halloween event with the step mother and sisters follows the Cinderella castle theme so maybe not frozen? I agree if people are willing to dough out the money for a party within a party I'm sure something is possible for the Christmas parties as well

It's really hard for me to imagine spending that kind of money when we're already purchasing a special event ticket for so much. But I understand why/how others can and do. We're already paying for a park ticket for the morning, then paying the cost of the MVMCP ticket. To then add another ticket for a special event within a special seems too much for us!

What if they debut an in costume Olaf and make it the only way you can meet him? They could charge 200 per person and it would sell out. That would make me really sad though.

That is a good point! Maybe they will add something but else where, rather then the castle. I'm interested to see what happens and how the MNSSHP extra event works out

Oh that would be cool! But I'd probably skip for $200 per person lol

This was the first thing I thought of when I saw the announcement of the MNSSHP Villain event inside an event. We have tickets for MVMCP. I was hoping that they would add some "Frozen" to the parade and fireworks. Don't think I would pay $200 to meet Olaf. I already met Josh Gad in person for free ;)

I would say, depending on how the MNSSHP Villains party sells, they might move the Frozen girls into a special event at MVMCP, and maybe upcharge it even more. I know my SIL would pay just about anything for my niece to have a dessert party with the Frozen girls. Add in Olaf and the Frozen boys, Cha-Ching!

They could also do a more princess/prince dessert party. I would love to meet some of the princes, since my family has only met Flynn. Have Cinderella/charming, Snow White/prince, Anna/kristoff, aurura/Phillip, belle/Adam (human form), etc and Elsa sings let it go to the crowd. :) like lady Tremaine.
Of course I couldn't afford with 8 of us but it's possible.
Then my family would be super sad they pulled all/most of the princesses and princes out the party. Crap. Did I just give Disney an idea!?!?!?!?!?!

I'm actually hoping they would do something similar for christmas! But it's only DH and me, so I may be bias :)

Don't mind that patch of ground moving, that's just Walt turning over in his grave.

Walt liked to make money, I'm fairly sure he'd be just fine.

Well, there's making money and then there's just plain GREEDY! And these days, it seems all Disney heads care about is money and it's all about the greed, not helping guests have a magical Disney experience.

Can we just scrap the whole Walt Disney thing and change it to princess world? Because what we really all want and need is more Frozen and more princesses.

Many do consider that a magical experience. Do you really think Disney would offer something they thought no one had any interest in. :confused3

I realize that, and that's great. But, the price of an additonal $99 is more than outrageous! First, they shut out those who planned certain things for their MNSSHP party. Guests made their decision to buy party tix for their family based on what Disney published in print(and later removed), and on past parties. Disney then took away things from the MNSSHP, making certain things only available now for much more money, things that were formerly included. Though I didn't look it up, I expect the cost for the party ticket is higher than last year. Following the Disney trend lately of charging more but offering less. :sad2:

If their purpose was to make the guests experience more magical, why didn't they just add something extra to the MNSSHP? They are not offering the soiree for guests to have a more magical experience. They added a party with events that come at the expense of the first party. If they are going to charge more, why not just a more modest charge? Say $99 total for both parties? I mean you have to buy MNSSHP party tickets first for what, about $72, and only then you are allowed to buy the other ticket, that includes some things previously available to all party guests, and that ticket is an additional $99 one hours worth of extras! That's over $170 per person! For a family of 4, that's aprox. another $400. The original party is appox. $300. That more than doubles the party cost and to me that is out of line! And if they use a day's ticket for the early part of the day, that could be up to $270 day for one person, and up to $1080 for a family of 4! :scared1:

And, of course there are people who do want that experience and feel it is magical. I'm not saying it wouldn't be magical for the guest. But, I think they are taking a big advantage of those guests and charging a very unmagical price!! And to me, that is just plain Greedy!

I do buy tix for the MVMCP, and love it! And I'm glad they offer it, the hard ticket parties are great. But, each year there seems to be less than the previous year, though it costs more. I'm dreading what they may take away from this year's party and put it as an exclusive extra party ticket only. And that I won't buy. Now, if it were much more modest addition but something I really wanted, then I would consider it, but not if it were to more than double my party cost.
