My Mom won a disney trip from her church. She took my brother and sister(AND NOT ME!! I was in college so I didn't get included in the trip-)They paid for the flight down hotel and 4 days worth of tickets(they stayed at the Poly) My brother describes this as the trip from hell. But my Mom talks very postively about the whole thing Hey it's a free trip what's not to love!!

The reason I started playing sweepstakes was because a co-worker of mine always wins online sweepstakes. Last summer he won a trip to Disneyland. It was a 3 day 2 night trip over the weekend. He took his ex-wife and step kid. The sponsors (don't know who he won it from) paid for airfare, hotel accomidations, and admission to the park. He even got to be on a float in the day parade with his ex-wife and step son.

I won a trip to California a few years ago from Pepsi. It wasn't a Disney trip but we did get to go to DL for the day.

I've won a lot of smaller things, an mp3 player, train set, lots of shirts, hats, DVDs, CDs, beach towels....

Friends of ours won a trip for 20 to Club Med Sandpiper a few years ago and they took us with them

I have won a trip to San Francisco from hotwire, plus a bunch of other smaller prizez. My friend won a trip to London last year and is going this fall.

Just remember you will get a 1099 to pay taxes on your trip.

As far as the Disney trip.. every sponsor offers something something different.

I always enter contests / sweepstakes when the prize inclues a trip to WDW. But I am wondering -- while I know people do win these prizes, has anyone here ever won one? If so, tell me about it.

I enter these all the time....and I never win anything. On the other hand my sister enters all the time and wins big things! Some people have all the luck.

I know there are people on the boards who have won trips to Disney.

I win lots of things, and I have passed that gene on to my children. I won a 4 day cruise once, and DD's win every coloring contest they enter. I have won something in almost every raffle I have ever bought tickets for.

I am one of the Grand Prize winners from the Ratatouille Disney Movie Rewards sweeps. I had one entry and apparently it won

I won a 4 night trip for 4 to a spa resort in Evian-les-Baines, France. It is in the Alps. It includes $500 spending money, 1 spa treatment per person & breakfasts.

I am still awaiting the rest of the details for the trip, but we'll prolly take it in the spring.

My young daugther won a free trip for four to WDW from Boscov's department stores. They put us up in the Poly and then we paid for four extra nights. Flight was included and a five day hopper passes and one character breakfast meal at Crystal Palace, corner table and $400 disney dollars which we used for LOTS of souveniers and mickey bars.

We total bill for WDW was $1600 that included our meals, hey we lived it up and done lots of character meals.

It was a nice time.

When I started this thread, I was looking for DISNEY wins -- specifically, trips to WDW. What I am wondering is if anyone has won a trip to WDW, what did they get, how was it taxed, was it worth the win, and was there some degree of flexibility? I (and I know many others) spend time entering those kinds of sweepstakes and I want to be sure I'm not wasting my time!

Great thread!! I've been entering contests lately but no luck. Are there any particular websites you go too? I've been trying to win Disney vacations and other vacations but so far no luck. I keep trying though. One tip I heard you have a better chance of winning a contest if the contest is just for local residents.

I am a multi-million dollar lottery winner. That's what I'm saying. I found an old ticket in my wallet from July that I've never checked the numbers on. As long as I don't check the numbers, those numbers are a multi-million dollar winner and will help to pay for a vacation to Disney

I suppose it's March already. July is right around the corner. Don't you have a year to collect on a lottery ticket? If I wait past the year, those numbers will definitely be million dollar winners...
