Any suggestions?

I'm planning a trip to WDW for April 06. Since I'll be taking a week out of college, flying is my only option. From what I've found, the cheapest option is for me to fly out Columbus, OH (CMH) to Orlando Intl (MCO). I don't want to fly into Sanford. While not my first time flying, this will be my first solo flight, as well as my first time booking airfare. Does anyone have any suggestions or useful bits of information? Most of the flights I've looked at route me through Chicago (both O'hare and Midway) which isn't something I'm terribly keen on. I'm affraid that Chicago is too big/busy for my taste. Are my fears founded, or am I just crazy? Could some more experienced travelers help me out?

My first piece of advice would be NOT to buy anything too soon. You've got a long time to wait it out and see if you can find a low fare.

As for changing planes in Chicago...I have found that many of the times I transfer, the "new" gate is in the same terminal as the gate you've just landed in. So, it's probably just a matter of walking from Gate B15 to Gate B22 or something easy like that. If not, all airports these days are clearly labeled and (I think) pretty easy to navigate. If you get nervous, just ask a airline employee, they're usually pretty helpful.

Good luck! Remember, it's probably going to be a lot easier than you anticipate...
